The sun is on its way!

Bring out the bunting!

The sun is on it's way

I'm going to be sitting out enjoying it

next week - every day !

However if the weathermen are wrong I'll just have to stay indoors and make more of my bunting cards :O)

Sorry for the bloggy break!   The Roscommon Lamb Festival is now over so my full attention will be back on Michellemadethis.

I've had a camera man at the cottage filming me this week so hopefully that should be available next week.  As a result of that the sewing corner has been given a makeover - pics to follow.  In fact LOTS of pics to follow.

Have a lovely weekend peeps!

New range of cards

I was recently asked to provide some cards for a local jewellery shop.  I decided to design an exlusive range with a bit of bling using damask printed papers, diamantes and lots of glitter.

I finally got them all packaged up Saturday and dropped off ... I'd forgotten how time consuming making cards is.

Here's a sneak peak at some of them ...

The cards are currently on sale at Mary Raffertys Jewellers in Roscommon.

If you do purchase one let me know - it's great to get feedback :o)

Making a list and checking it twice!

Sorry for the little blog break.

Things have been a little hectic around here what with the floods, the strike and the fact that I've decided to have a little Country Cottage Christmas Craft event in a few weeks.

I have been busy busy busy making lots of lists and checking them twice.

My kitchen is definitley looking like Santa's workshop - he'd be sooo impressed.  Ok maybe not with the 'mess' but certainly with the output.   I can't upload any pics at the mo (seems to be a recurring issue with my blog lately - anyone else having probs??) but will post a few sneaky peeks tomorrow.

In the meantime thank you so much for all the lovely comments about the new blog banner and hello to all my new followers and facebook fans.

Love is all around

Ok, the weekend of card making has paid off and I have a nice collection of valentines for all you love birds out there.

I've been making them in my 'craft' room which was actually getting to a lovely tidy state until I started making these cards - just look at the mess of that desk !!!

I hope the link works below, if not you can go directly to my flickr account to see all the valentine cards ... and actually all my other cards too :o) Otherwise, I've attached a couple of pics below ... just in case.

Remember the post about the red clay? Well here's how I used some of the things I did with it

Sorry about the awful picture quality. Anyone any tips on taking pics of cards ?? Feel free to leave me a comment if you have as they seem to be getting worse instead of better!
