Sheepy Cards

I finally got to the famous Volvo Ocean Race (30th June - 8th July) in Galway.

Despite the rain, the muck (thank goodness I wore my wellies) I had a lovely day and it was almost like being on holiday as I heard so many different accents and languages around me throughout the day.

There's definitely "something for everyone" and it's all within walking distance which is fantastic.  The only thing I would say is WEAR YOUR WELLIES.

For those of you that follow me you will know that I live in Roscommon.  There's a lot of work going on at the moment to promote our County and I'm happy to say that I'm doing my bit.  I've been away from my blog for the past few days due to my kitchen table being covered in sheep!  Not what you think.  I've been busy making cards to help promote Roscommon.

As part of the promotion campaign we have a Roscommon stand at the Volvo Ocean Race with a whole host of information on our County and all that it has to offer (Stand A6-A9 on Mulvoy Quay, Dock Road).

A fabulous new website has been created too and a brochure full of information on the County.

On Friday (yep tomorrow)

I will be giving a crafty demo from 2-4pm at the stand.

Then from 6-8pm there's  a Taste of Roscommon event and you're all invited.

There will be food samples music and goodie bags galore.  And guess what you'll find in the goodie bags .... one of my cards.

So if you're wondering what to do this Friday I definitely recommend a trip to Galway, and of course a stop off at our stand in the Look West tent.    Or, how about a trip to Roscommon to Revive, Refresh and Rewind :O)

Happy Weekend everyone!
