The sewing bug has hit.
I came in from college today
and have been sewing ever since!
Another pretty bag.
This one is reversible too.
I'm thinking I might sell them
and would like some feedback from you.
Do you think they're pretty,
Or is it just me?
What would you pay for it -
Twenty, Thirty or Forty?
Do you think they're too big,
too small or just about right?
They're approximatley 15 inches wide
and 16 inches in height.
Remember that they are all made by hand
at home, with love, by me.
Not mass produced in there thousands
with machines in a factory.

Hi Michelle, I think your bags are very cute and your choice of fabrics and trims are lovely. As for pricing im very sorry but I have no idea! Take a look at etsy,misi,folksy etc to check out the "going rate"??? but dont undersell yourself!

I love your designs and would defintitely buy one. I love the fact that they are reversible so you get two bags in one! I love the size too - great for getting all sorts of bits and pieces in for a day out, but perhaps you could do a smaller version too? You know, for a couple of balls of wool, or in my case, a bear in progress! My favourite is the polka dots, but then I'm a polka dot kinda girl!! x

I think you could definitely sell your bags. Why not try etsy, lots of people seem to do it. I would have a look around and see what others are charging for similar items.

They are definately sellable, and yes, they are pretty, it's not just you! I love the detail on the pocket, that's what took my eye. I am CRAZY about bags and have far too many, but it never stops me buying more. These are practical and lovely, I'd be happy to have one over my shoulder! K xx
ReplyDeletejust wanted to say sell those bags. With all the push to recycle everyone wants nice shopping bags and yours are very pretty. As others have suggested, I would see what others are charging on etsy and go for it.
