One of my girls laid a rather strange looking egg the other day.
Thank you to the wonderful worldwide web I've discovered that eggs and light bulbs actually have a lot in common.
Well according to this article they do.
How strange?
It's not just my girls that are laying strange eggs.
My friend Sarah has had an even stranger one ... an egg within an egg!
Check out her blog here.
Have you had any strange eggs recently?
Hi Michelle,
ReplyDeleteLoved your last two posts, in response to your question on the health benefits of knitting. I went to a workshop entitled "heal yourself through knitting" as part of the Wise Woman Festival. I now use the tools I learned in my craft sessions.
We have had the funniest of eggs down through the years, including shell less eggs (or wind eggs) often the first ever egg laid by a young pullet. Keep up the great posts. Hugs, Margie.
that looks like it would have hurt!!!
ReplyDeleteYES!! Michelle, my girls have laid strangely shaped eggs. One was tiny like a little quails egg and another was long and narrow, like a sausage...very strange

ReplyDeleteWe did have a strange egg recently - the outside was weirdly 'patchy' and no-one wanted to eat it! But it was fine inside so I sneeked it into a cake I baked! Great blog.
